2018 年 4 月 25 日下午，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主
席习近平乘船考察长江，抵达石首港。随后，驱车一个多小时来到湖南岳阳，
考察位于长江沿岸的岳阳市君山华龙码头。这是习近平走进一处巡护监测
点，了解东洞庭湖国家级自然保护区生态保护状况。
Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC)
Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, arrived at Shishou
Port on the afternoon of April 25 to inspect the Yangtze River by boat. After that, we drove to
Yueyang, Hunan Province for more than an hour to inspect the Junshan Hualong Wharf in
Yueyang City, which is located along the Yangtze River. This is Xi Jinping walking into a patrol
monitoring point to learn about the ecological protection status of East Dongting Lake National
Nature Reserve.

Yueyang City, which was called Balin during the old times, is home for a
number of famous water bodies, including the Yangtze River and Dongting
lake. The city has a total area of 15 thousand square kilometers and there is
an old saying that Yueyang is the perfect combination of gorgeous mountains,
water bodies, landscapes, ports, historical statues and well-known poems. It
is the second largest cities, based on GDP, in Hunan and has many national
name tags including “The famous historical and cultural cities in China”, “The
excellent tourist cities in China”, “The National Health City”, “The National

FTZis 18.8km away from Yueyang Sanhe airport, which connecting Shanghai
Pudong, Beiing Daxing and other intemational integrated aviation hubs by daily
non- stop fights. Meanwhile, it is adjacent to large international airports such as
Changsha Huanghua InternationalAirportand Wuhan Tianhe Intermnational Airport.
Adjacent to Dongting lake and the Yangtze River, Yueyang has the only port
in Hunan Province that has Cross-Ocean shipping lines. It has the capacity to host
10,000 tons ships all the year round and has opened the 5 lines to Chongqing and
Yangshan, and has daily shipping lines from Yueyang to Shanghai, monthly lines to
Australia, Southeast Asia and Japan.
FTZ is 8 km away from Yueyang East station and 7.5 km away from Bejing
Guangzhou Railway Yueyang station. There is a 5.3 km special line for Chenglingji
Railway, and 18 km Songyanghu line, which is about to be completed, reaching to
the region. Songyanghu line is connected with Bejing Guangzhou Railway and is
the starting station of Hunan Europe Express line.

Yueyang has been famous for its water bodies and well-designed buildings ever since ancient
time. The Yueyang Tower is one of“Top 3 reputable towers in southem China”and was listed as one of
the“China' S Top 10 Historical Cultural Buildings”. Yueyang Tower has also listed as a national key scenic
reserve, one of the top ten cultural heritages in Hunan Province, and a national AAAA level tourist attraction.
任弼时纪念馆为苏州清式园林仿古建筑 , 主体建筑气
势恢宏 , 布局独具匠心，融爱国主义教育与观光旅游于一
体。纪念馆陈列展出了近 200 件珍贵文物和 400 多幅照片，
分六个专题展示了任弼时同志在建团、建党、建军、建国
四个方面的丰功伟绩 , 再现了任弼时同志光辉的奋斗历程，
弘扬了任弼时同志的骆驼精神 , 是湖南省爱国主义教育基
地 , 也是全国重点文物保护单位。
Ren Bishi Memorial Hall is an antique Suzhou Qing style garden. It
integrates patriotism education and sightseeing functions. Memorial hall
displays nearly 200 pieces of precious cultural arts and more than 400
photos, showing Bishi Ren 6 phases of his joumey with Communist Party.
It is one of the patriotism education center in Hunan and also a national key
protected cultural relics.
屈原庙 , 亦称屈子祠 , 现辟为屈原纪念馆，位于汨罗城
西北玉笥山顶。始建于汉代，1765 年重建 , 占地 7.8 亩，
是纪念爱国诗人屈原的祠堂。
Quyuan Temple, also known as Quzi Temple, is now converted
intoQuyuan Memorial Hall, located inthenorthwest of Miluo City, Shandong
Province, the top of the mountain. Built in the Han Dynasty and rebuilt in
1765, it covers an area of 7.8 mu. It is the ancestral hall commemorating
the patriotic poet Qu Yuan.
洞庭湖是历史上重要的战略要地、中国传统文化发源
地。也是中国传统农业发祥地 , 是著名的鱼米之乡 , 是湖南
省乃至全国最重要的商品粮油基地、水产和养殖基地。
Historically, Dongting Lake is an important military base and the
birthplace of Chinese traditional culture. It is also the birthplace of

湖南城陵矶新港区依托长江八大良港城陵矶港而建 , 成立于
2009 年 12 月 , 地处“两带”( 长三角和珠三角经济带 )、“两区”( 长株
潭“两型社会”综合试验区和武汉“两型社会”综合试验区 ) 之间的
十字交汇点。规划控制面积 100 平方公里，境内有 11.9 公里长江深
水黄金半线。是湖南落实“一带一部” 战略的重要支撑点 , 推动粤港

2020 年 9 月，湖南自贸区成功获批，9 月 24 日下午，
由时任湖南副省长何报翔，时任岳阳市委书记王一鸥，市委副
书记、时任市人民政府市长李爱武等领导剪彩揭牌，中国(湖南)
自由贸易试验区岳阳片区正式成立。时任市委书记王一鸥指出，
“这是一块政治‘责任牌’，也是一个发展‘加速器’”。岳
阳自贸片区将坚持大胆试、大胆闯、自主改，全力开辟制度创
新新高地。

Shipping and Logistics sector: Sector Overview - benchmarking on
those most advanced international port hubs, Yueyang is promoting
its port efficiency as well as the port service quality by adapting to the
latest logistics service system, which is believed playing a crucial role
in Yueyang’s international economic sector. Based upon good port
infrastructure and shipping conditions, multinational corporations such as
Shenzhen International, Shanggang group, Haijixing have settled in the
area. With such, Yueyang has already built up the foundation to be the
logistics center in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
Innovation and Upgrading Industry Sector: Yueyang has made great progress
in developing the Electronic & Information Technology industry, New materials,
New energy industry and other strategical emerging industries. Those industries

manufacturing factor, the NKG semiconductor printer chip project, China and South
Korea intelligent display project and XiaoMi Printer project, Yueyang had already
