江西简称“赣”，因公元 733 年唐玄宗设江南西道而得省名，又因为江西最大河

流为赣江而得简称。全省国土面积 16.69 万平方公里，总人口 4500 余万，辖 11

个设区市、100 个县（市、区）。

The abbreviation of Jiangxi Province is "Gan", which was given the name in 733

A.D. when Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty established the Jiangnan

West Province. The largest river in Jiangxi is the Ganjiang River, which explains

why it is abbreviated as "Gan" . The province has a land area of 166,900 square

Jiangxi Province is located on the south bank of the middle- and lower-reaches

of the Yangtze River in the central part of southeast China. It was called the

"head of Wu (north of Jiangsu and Zhejiang) and tail of Chu (within Hunan

and Hubei), the gateway of Guangdong and Fujian provinces" in ancient times.

The province is adjacent Zhejiang and Fujian in the east, Guangdong in the

south, Hunan in the west, and Hubei and Anhui in the north, which is divided

by the Yangtze River. Jiangxi is the common hinterland of the Yangtze River

Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the Southern Fujian Delta. The straight-line

distance between Jiangxi and Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Nanjing, Wuhan,

Changsha, Hefei and other cities and ports is 600-700 kilometers. The BeijingKowloon Railway and the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway run through the whole

territory. All major routes that connect the province are expressways. There are

also convenient air and water transport in the province.

Jingdezhen porcelain has a long history and are renowned both at home and

abroad for its characteristics of being "white as jade, bright as mirror, thin as

paper, and sound as chime". The Sitir Liquor of Zhangshu City was praised

by Premier Zhou Enlai as "clear, fragrant, mellow and pure" to describe the

four characteristics of the liquor. The Gougunao Tea of Suichuan won the

gold reward at the Panama International Food Expo. The Nanfeng Orange

used to be a tribute to the royal family. In addition, there are a total of 159

brands, such as Lushan Yunwu Tea, Actinidia Chinensis, Gannan orange,

Nan'an pressed salted duck, Taihe silky fowl, Jiangling Motors and Jinsheng

Cigarettes , are listed as well-known trademarks in China.

最大的淡水湖—鄱阳湖。江西森林覆盖率达 63.1%，居全国第 2 位，生态

优势明显。江西拥有国家级以上文化旅游目的地 120 余处，旅游资源丰富。

Jiangxi is rich in mineral resources. There are 139 kinds of minerals in nine

In the long history of Chinese civilization, Jiangxi has appeared countless

强 120 家，如：美国福特、默克，加拿大麦格纳，法国雷诺、标致、达能，日本

五十铃、铃木、日立、大金工业，韩国 LG，新加坡丰益国际等知名企业。

出口 3671.8 亿元，增长 25.8%；进口 1308.6 亿元，增

对东盟、美国、欧盟前三大贸易伙伴分别进出口 797.3

The total mileage of inland waterways is

5,716 kilometers, including 871 kilometers

of high-grade waterways. The Ganjiang

River and Xinjiang River have basically

achieved Class III navigation, and 2,000-

ton ships can travel directly from the

Yangtze River to Nanchang Port. Jiangxi

has two major inland river ports, Jiujiang

and Nanchang. The freight throughput of

Jiujiang Port exceeds 150 million tons,

ranking 9th among inland river ports in

China.

以上锂电新能源企业 112 家，实现主营业务收入 503.51 亿元，同比增长

39.96%。江西光伏产业集中在上饶和新余等地。锂电产业形成从锂矿原

料精选到锂电池应用较为完整的产业链，拥有全球最大的金属锂生产企

业赣锋锂业、孚能科技等龙头企业，产业集中在宜春、新余、赣州等地。
