Patricia holds an MA in Education from the University of Sunderland and is currently pursuing her second master’s in leadership and management

through the University of Bath. Patricia has had over 20 years’ experience in IB schools in Singapore, China and the United States.

Prior to ISA Liwan, Patricia was employed by the Canadian International School of Singapore as the Vice Principal of Primary for international bilingual

programs. As an experienced IBEN educator, Patricia has been an IB Workshop Leader, Schools Consultant and Site Visit Team Member for over 8 years.

As a school leader, she has worked with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience in leading in a cross-cultural context.

Patricia was a founding staff of ISA Tianhe. During this time, Patricia led innovation in Chinese curriculum design with the Chinese department.

Patricia 拥有桑德兰大学的教育硕士学位，目前正在巴斯大学攻读她的第二个领导和管理硕士学位。Patricia在新加坡、中国和美国的IB学校拥有超过20年的经验。

“推动经典诵读百佳人物”等荣誉称号。曾在广

州、 顺德、清远、海南省、浙江省、安徽省等地上

示范课三十多节，课堂教学曾得到崔峦、许汉

等名家好评。课题成果荣获某市科研成果二等

奖。有十多篇论文获奖并发表在《小学语文教

Using content and standards from national and international

curricular, ISA Liwan’s curriculum uses concepts as building

blocks to allow for the development of higher-order thinking

skills. These include synergist thinking, critical thinking and

creative thinking. Starting early in primary school, student

skill development is mapped across the curriculum to ensure

that they are learning these important holistic skills from

a very early age. These include social skills, research skills,

self-management skills and communication skills, which are

all embedded into the curriculum and into the pastoral care

programme. A focus on these approaches to learning skills
